Tom just helped our family find our forever home!
He was patient and helped us think through the pros and cons of each home we looked at. He was never pushy and he always responded to emails, texts, and phone calls very quickly. We never felt like Tom thought of us as just a home sale - he actually wanted us to find what we wanted and he did what he could to help us. We are so happy we chose him to be our realtor!
"Tom represented us in the sale of our existing home as well as the new home. We did this transaction long distance and Tom ably kept us up to date on the process via phone and on line. The house sold quickly which speaks to the smoothness of the transaction by the entire team. We would recommend his services without hesitation."
To put it simply, Tom is an expert at his job, and should be considered an invaluable asset to anyone wishing to navigate the infinitely complex process of purchasing a home.
When I first met with Tom, I had very little understanding of the process - where to look, what the necessary decisions / considerations are and their benefits / drawbacks, what the 300 acronyms / forms are and why they exist…(insert my infinite questions here)… I walked away feeling efficiently educated and advised. It couldn’t have possibly gone smoother. I couldn’t have asked for anything more whatsoever from a teacher and guide through the biggest purchase of my life. It was just clean cut from start to finish – the guy has an unreal affinity for serving in this multifaceted role; a well-proportioned mixture of a wise old man, a teacher and a bartender. We would seamlessly transition from laughing so hard we’re crying to talking about our next steps and what a good timeline of execution would be. I was never rushed – but I was never pushed to be relaxed or take my time either. I never felt like a client or a customer, only like a student - with a wealth of knowledge and advice standing beside me for every decision I needed to make. There was no clear line in the sand as to what his role was, or what would be “not his job”, he was just there - for anything and everything, from start to finish. Never a single unanswered question or anything but prompt, clear, patient responses to every question and obligation on my end. The amount of competencies Tom possesses in various realms needed to perform at this level of rigor and devotion to duty as a realtor is unparalleled. I could not have asked for more and am forever grateful.
Tom was fantastic to work with!
He was flexible and understanding of my husband's and my ever-changing search criteria. We toured housing development plots, acreages, and a fair number of homes. Tom booked all of our showings quickly and always within the time frames we requested. He also presented new postings to us the second they crossed his path! He really acted as our advocate the minute we started working with him. It was my first home buying experience and he explained every step and process along the way. After purchasing our new home, we worked closely with Tom to list my husband's previous house. Tom suggested a listing price higher than we were thinking and it sold in three days! I would highly recommend working with Tom to anyone buying or selling a house!
Tom was really helpful and explained the whole house buying process in a lot of details.
Some friends recommended him to us and when we contacted him and explained our situation of moving to the US within a few months, he was able to answer with deep knowledge our questions and provided us with the confidence we needed to buy the house we wanted.
I hope you are lucky enough to have Tom Webber as your realtor.
During the fall/winter of 2016, I began thinking about the idea of homeownership - nothing really serious. Tom and I attend the same church and so I casually asked him one day if he would mind showing me some houses. I told him some of the things I was thinking about but really wasn't sure what I was looking for. So Tom set me up with Mottinger's website and I selected some homes I wanted to see. Tom was patient and took me to those homes, pointed out things that I should think about, and made suggestions for other homes to visit as well. Tom must have shown me around 15 houses at least. As I became more familiar with the market and interest rates I realized that purchasing a house was feasible and a wise decision for me so I ended up purchasing and having my offer accepted in December of 2016 - I just closed on March 23rd. The whole process (from home inspections to radon testing) became low stress and a positive learning experience about what I liked in a home and what home would be a good fit for me as well. Tom was thoughtful about my own life circumstances regarding my closing date and helped to advocate for a closing date that minimized my apartment lease and when my mortgage payments would start. I am quite grateful that my home was well taken care of, I have the home inspection to prove it (peace of mind - hello!), and the negotiations allowed for minor repairs for its continued upkeep. Overall, my first home buying experience could not have gone much more smoothly and I sincerely appreciate the time that Tom provided me!
